Rio Del Sol Estates
R.P. “Bert” Davie and E.E. McIntyre begin buying 80-acre parcels to resell to friends and business peers. Davie built a road across the Whitewater River flood channel, which he dubbed Rio del Sol, to serve residents of what became known as Rio del Sol Estates

Attorney A. Ronald Button and actor Dave Culver purchase almost 2,000 acres of the land around Magnesia Falls to seed the restart residential development. In 1956, he’s briefly joined in his venture TV and radio personality Art Linkletter
White Sun Estates & Thunderbird Ranch
Jack and Helen Dengler buy and convert Eleven Mile Ranch into White Sun Guest Ranch. It’s now a gated community of some 50 homes called White Sun Estates. Frank Bogert and corporate investors open the Thunderbird Ranch.
